Peter's Thoughts

The circumstances around this little escapade of Timby & Nixy's are a little sketchy. For one thing, Timby had been warned numerous times by the governor of Pompei not to don his chef's toque anymore, because every time he did a new distressing event would transpire. And for another thing, Nixy had been warned earlier that afternoon by a man on a handcar that he should not order soup from Timby.

Thus the reasons that Timby was again acting in place of the chef on staff, and that Nixy had ordered soup after all, are regretfully mysterious. One thing is for sure: their behavior in response to these peculiar circumstances alludes to copious affective misconfigurations – id est, Timby & Nixy's behavior is deranged. Deeply, deeply deranged.
